The Harrisburg Hershey Hash House Harriers (fondly known as H5 or Harrisburg Hershey H3) was formed in March 1997. One harrier (the hare) lays a trail of flour over a chosen course. The other harriers (the hounds) try to follow that trail, along which they may encounter refreshment surprises. The typical hash is 3-5 miles over hill and dale, through suburbs, woods, malls, et al. The hash isn't a race, there are no prizes to the swift. Following the trail is the challenge, camaraderie and beverages are the rewards. We are, quite frankly, "A drinking club with a running problem." Harrisburg-Hershey Hash House Harriers hash every other Saturday, rain or shine and on each Full Moon. Call 810-1973 or click on the "H5 Schedule" link for directions to upcoming hashes. Bring a change of clothes and wear clothes and running shoes you're willing to get muddy (NOT new shoes). For more H5 antics outside of the normal runs, click "subscribe" on the menu to be added to the email list. Still not sure you want to be associated with these half-minds?
